I am a business and technology professional with over 20 years international experience working for blue chip financial services organisations in primarily capital markets-facing roles. Over my career, I have delivered multi-million dollar programs with large globally dispersed teams delivering accelerated transformational business outcomes.
I specialise in leveraging my experience, stakeholder skills and ability to offer alternative viewpoints to cut through bureaucracy, quickly identify key issues to rapidly form a pragmatic and executable path to creating value.
I have extensive international experience and a preference for global working with stakeholders from different cultures. From an original base in London I have worked for extended periods in the US and Japan. I also studied part of my MBA in China which I took a year out to complete immersively in the full-time cohort.
To compliment my business focus I have a passion for technology with an extensive software development background building bespoke institutional trading and portfolio management enterprise applications.
I have worked with many development technologies, design approaches and SDLC methodologies. This includes Waterfall and Agile, from the early days of Rapid Application Development to hybrid business-technology models such as Enterprise SAFe.
I have also worked with numerous startups in a diverse range of industries including film and media, sports management, public sector, transport and ecommerce.
I hold an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Scrum Product Owner Certification (SPOC) and a Diploma in Film from Sydney Film School.
